In 2005 we were finally able to use a piece of software that was written by Daniel specifically for our needs, called Lindele. Lindele allowed us to use a standard computer to play and control the sound for the entire haunt from one central location. You can use multiple cheap multi-channel (5.1 - 7.1) sound cards in the same computer and play one sound effect on each channel and then pipe the sound where ever needed.
